About the Role

​

The Real Estate Operations Manager will inspire the CHDL operational team to consistently raise the bar across services offered to customers. The successful candidate will identify, track, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all delivery areas, instill customer centricity and spark a culture of excellence in operations, exercising controllership of performance across the CHDL portfolio. We are actively seeking a candidate who consistently demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability in their day-to-day tasks and can establish themselves as a highly effective and successful contributor.

What you'll do

​

  • Serving as an extension of the Asset Manager, enhancing communication, overseeing logistics while minimizing distractions.

  • Handling incoming phone calls and voicemails for the Management team.

  • Taking bids, coordinating and overseeing the work of Subcontractors, Suppliers, Engineers, Designers, and other external stakeholders

  • Updating and maintaining property listings in our database, overseeing marketing materials for listings, and coordinating social media posts, photography, and signage.

  • Work in collaboration with property managers, asset managers, maintenance staff for the daily operations.

  • Oversee housing voucher program and associated administrative tasks.

  • Email management and responding to up to 50-80 emails a day.

  • Generate appropriate reports weekly and monthly.

  • Managing the company’s daily operations and transactions, ability to correlate and analyze a situation and act accordingly.

  • Represent organization in various meetings, seminars and marketing opportunities.

  • Ability to deliver results and follow company wide operational SLA.

  • Monitoring and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for property management, construction, and maintenance sectors.

  • Providing backup and support to the Management Team during absences

  • Provides input on operating policies and procedures that promote best practices and standardization across the Company’s real estate portfolio.

  • Keep business leaders informed of progress, and follow up as required to ensure assigned tasks are completed.

  • Completes various administrative tasks and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary

  • Overseeing office procedures and providing administrative support to ensure seamless operations

  • Continuously seeking innovative solutions and embracing new challenges.

  • Report directly to Asset Manager.

Who we're looking for

  • Dependable, with a commitment to working a minimum of 40-48 hours per week.

  • Scheduling wizard - Coordinate appointments with tenants, vendors seamlessly.

  • The ideal candidate is the master of creating efficient systems, navigating through details with ease, and maintaining a cool and composed demeanor even during the busiest times.

  • Bilingual - English & Spanish.

  • Phone and email etiquette expert - Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.

  • Tech savvy - expert in G-suite, Asana, CRM software and open to learning new technologies.

  • They must have the ability to navigate priorities within their team and identify solutions in difficult situations.

  • Having passion and in-depth knowledge of project management skills are critical.

  • The optimal candidate is an experienced and vibrant professional who excels within an entrepreneurial culture.

  • Correlation and data analysis skills necessary in day to day operations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact professionally and diplomatically with diverse groups, including business community leaders.

  • Juggle multiple tasks effectively at a given time and ability to learn on the job.

  • Understand how to escalate effectively and understand the balance between short-term vs long term results.

  • The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all real estate service lines are working well together (maintenance management, design & construction, asset management & occupancy etc).
