About the Role

​

You will be building platform which will provide customers all the due diligence data at their fingertips facilitating a high confidence decision to invest in any market. The platform will leverage data, aggregated and analyzed from a 360-degree view of underwriting and provide end-to-end experience in managing their investment project to completion.

What you'll do

​

• Collaborate in business and systems engineering sessions to elicit functional and non-functional technical requirements.

• Lead the design, implementation and delivery of software solutions for a large scale, critical and highly complex system

• Lead data and system integration with different third party vendors and data sources.

• Make appropriate trade-off decisions between automated and manual workflows to maximize operational efficiency.

• Focus on the overall software architecture and provide long-term strategic direction for the technical group within the company

• Lead, hire, and mentor other engineers and collaborate on project assignments that help them grow in their career goals.

• Prepare test strategy, test plans and test cases to ensure quality of the software solution.

• Establish mechanisms that provide confidence to deliver large and complex software releases successfully.

• Write scripts to automate operational requirements and provide support for production bugs. 

• ​Investigate, integrate, and proactively develop emerging technologies that encourage innovation, reliability, performance and productivity in large scale projects

Who we're looking for

​

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent

• 6+ years of experience in software development using Java or equivalent.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Bonus points for previous experience data integration or automation experience
